The FX-300 provides the same crucible capacity as the FX-301 and is Lead-Free compatible. Operation is as simple as turning the unit on and selecting the desired heat setting with the dial on the face of the unit. The FX-300 does not include a built-in timer for auto-shutoff and does not have selectable settings for crucible dimension or solder type. The 50 x 50 mm crucible comes standard with the unit. The 75 x 75 mm crucible (PN: A1518) is optional.
