Harris silver brazing alloys are produced with precise wire size and chemical composition. Safety-Silv brazing alloys are offered in coil, straight lengths, and bare or flux coated rods. To protect the health of operators the use of cadmium-bearing filler metals should be discontinued. Cadmium oxide fumes produced during brazing operations are highly toxic and a listed carcinogen.
