The OEM 25967 has 9 drive pins to fit these new style retaining nuts found on 2-wheel and 4-wheel drive Cheyenne, Silverado, Escalade, Sierra and Avalanche trucks with 10.5″ or 11.5″ ring gear and will allow the specified torque to be reached to set proper preload.
