Vinpro-U by Schluter Systems is designed to provide a smooth transition between resilient floor coverings (including vinyl, cork, linoleum and rubber floorings) and floor coverings at lower elevations. The sloped surface eliminates trip hazards and the top flange hides the cut edge of the resilient flooring to create a finished look. The profile has a tapered anchoring leg with holes for installation with fasteners. It can also be installed with an adhesive such as Kerdi-Fix. Fasteners and adhesive sold separately. This model features a brushed chrome anodized aluminum finish and accomodates 3/16-in (5-mm) thick resilient coverings.
