It allows for easy removal of spindle nuts on the inside of the hub to replace emergency brakes and more. This socket has a 1/2-inch drive and a 2-5/8-inch (67mm) outer diameter (OD). This socket is compatible with 1978 to 1984 Ford F-Series 4WD heavy-duty 3/4 Ton and 1 Ton trucks, 1973 to 1981 GM 4WD 3/4 Ton and 1 Ton trucks, 1984 to 1992 Ranger, Bronco with manual hubs, and 1990 to 1993 Dodge trucks with Dana 44 lug with extension. To ensure exact fitment, remove the axle and measure the nut diameter.
