The Arbortech Contour Random Sander was designed to attach to your angle grinder to provide a random-orbital sanding action. It was designed to work in hard-to-reach spaces. By simply threading the attachment onto you 5/8 inch 11 shaft, you’ll have a deep reaching, 2 inch random orbit sander. The Contour Sander features a 2-1/2 inch shaft that puts the unique sanding head into deep hollow areas that are impossible to reach with conventional sanders. It includes a patented flexible sanding pad that molds to the surface shape without digging or burning the work. Control. With the Arbortech Contour Random Sander you can achieve the control of sanding detailed work by hand yet with the added advantage of speed. The Sander molds to the shape of your wood project for effective sanding of shaped and sculpted forms so you have greater control over the finish of your project. Performance. The random Orbital Sanding Action combined with the Flexible Backing Pad helps you create the perfect finish with no risk of scarring, scratching or blemishing the wood. It features an 8cm (3 1/6 inch) shaft so you can reach into deep hollows that would otherwise be impossible to reach. Versatility. You can change from aggressive sanding to light sanding quickly and easily thanks to the wide variety of available sanding discs. Use the contour sander in conjunction with a chuck for added sanding speed during wood turning projects. It attaches to most standard 100mm (4 inch) or 115mm (4 1/2 inch) grinders and is perfect for detail sanding and spot sanding, and concave or convex shapes. The sander moulds to shape for effective sanding of shaped and sculpted forms.
