This sash lock has 2-1/4â mounting hole centers with a 3/8â latch projection that engages into the fixed rail of the top sash without the use of a separate keeper. It is made of diecast zinc with a painted white finish. Itâ s strong durable and made to last. Installation is quick and easy and the sash lock can be used on vertical single and double hung aluminum sliding windows. These locks will also fit some horizontal aluminum-framed sliding windows. A locking replacement for this lock would be the Prime-Line part U 9933.
