This authentic Skil replacement part is responsible for controlling the on and off function of a saw. If your unit randomly stops or it takes several pushes on the trigger to get it going, installing a new switch may resolve the issues. Please note this plastic switch is sold individually. Includes four (4) screws. To complete this repair job you will need a screwdriver. Remove housing screws Separate housing from the main unit Take a note of how the wires are connected Disconnect wires from the old switch Remove the switch and secure new one in place Reconnect the wires Reassemble the housing and test the unit This Switch is used in Saws.
