UFP-Edge thermally modified accent boards not only have great curb appeal, they’re more durable than typical wood because they resist rot. Thermally modified wood has been treated with heat and steam, an all-natural process producing rot-resistant, lightweight, stable boards that are less likely to shrink or expand. You can install the paneling outside or inside on walls and ceilings. Available in 7 prestained colors plus natural (unfinished). Color is machine applied and has a UV protectant. Natural boards are unfinished and will eventually turn gray if exposed to sunlight. To preserve the color, manufacturer recommends sealing. Note that color and grain can vary from board to board because of wood’s natural characteristics. To ensure the most consistent color, purchase the amount you’ll need for the entire job plus 10%. Not for ground contact.
